JEWELRY

All jewelry is unique and a one of a kind original. Christine uses semi-precious and occasionally precious gemstone cabochons and beads, along with sterling and pure fine silver beads, as well as Sterling silver or 14K gold filled wire to create her jewelry artwork. Her newest work features fine silver (99.99 pure silver) art clay.  Please check out the Precious metal clay page to see it!

Also see the sold archive to the left for samples of other works. Now on Facebook too!

Christine studied privately with a Master Lapidary studio in Florence, Italy in 1989 and has been evolving and creating her jewelry since then. She collects her gemstones and materials from around the world, as well as using many that were locally mined and collected throughout Oregon. Many of the raw materials come from areas from which the mines or areas have been closed and the material is no longer available, thus making the stones not only very rare, but "collector" grade specimens as well, often coming directly from private collections to be transformed into the beautiful diamond polished gems that you see highlighted in Christine's work. She works in direct collaboration on many of the stones with a master lapidary artist to bring you the fine gemstones and cabochons you see featured in her designs.

Also, if don't see what you're looking for . . . check out the "sold archives" pages as well. I often will have a little more material of some of the pieces that have sold to work with that I just haven't had time or inspiration to create with yet! Look and see if there's something you like and let me know if a custom piece is in order!

The "dog inspired jewelry" is the exception to the "one of a kind" distinction. Many of these pieces have charms which are production pieces and are not one of a kind, thus multiples of these may be ordered.
